Tabuk Refuge of Hope International is a non-profit organization with the goal of reaching out to and protecting sexually abused girls in the Province of Kalinga and its neighboring provinces.

Our Mission
To help survivors of abuse, exploitation, and extreme poverty to find hope and healing in the love of Christ shown through prayer, counseling, and to improve the lives of girls towards a violence free surrounding through systematic proper intervention.
The Need
After the start of the COVID-19 lockdown in March 2020, sexual abuse cases all across the Philippines elevated. It was in the midst of all this that God made a way for our shelter to open as of June 2020. While an enormous amount of work has been done to improve the safety of women and children in our community who fell victim of sexual abuse, there is now a heightened concern about the many aspects of interpersonal violence that have an impact on the basic human right to live a life free of violence and abuse, with recent data indicating violence against women remains a substantial problem within the community.
With the establishment of our shelter, it has been shown that the effects of abuse/violence on the part of the young girls have been improved, with a profound impact on their physical, mental, and spiritual well being, as they are given intervention to restore their social functioning. Tabuk Refuge of Hope International has a significant role to play in working toward the prevention and early intervention of domestic violence in the province. Abusive relationships always involve an imbalance of power and control. And as long as an abuser uses intimidating, hurtful words and behaviors to control those less powerful than him, Tabuk Refuge of Hope International, with partners from various agencies will always be willing to work for rescuing girls and to restore victims of abuse through systemic intervention.
We have been working with the local Department of Social Welfare and Development office and other local agencies & NGOs to provide the best care for these precious young women and ensure that they can feel safe and find healing.
